No Weight: Est 15lbs Height: Est 14 inches Why am I with a rescue? Carolina Poodle Rescue saved 21 poodle mixes from Washington NC. It started with a call from a eastern NC shelter. 7 little babies, poodle mixes, brought in by a local who was being threatened by DSS to take her grandchildren out of her home if conditions didn't improve. 7 went to the shelter. 7 were called in to us. It ended with 21 little souls all together - most of them under a year - being picked up by CPR after we got directly in touch with the owner and offered our services. 21 doggies were transported to a vet to be checked. Ragged and stinking, hair loss and scabs and fleas and dirt, it was hard to tell what was going on until a professional took a look. Diagnosis? Sarcoptic AND demodex mange. On every single one of them. What is my personality like? Sam has made a drastic behavior improvement since he first came to us. When he first arrived, we thought his vision was bad, as his eyes were very cloudy. As his health improved, so did his eyes - completely! They are as clear as the sky now. He was also one of shyest of them all. Sam would hide under chairs, tables, blankets anything he could find. It took us several minutes to catch him every single day. Now he has learned to trust us and wants to be our best friend! He is a sweet and quiet dog! Age: est between 10 months and 3 years Thank you for your interest in a rescued dog.
